5/8/08 Non Brewers IGT

Rockies lead the Cards 7-1 in the bottom of the 5th. Kyle Loshe got knocked around for four innings and Jorge De La Rosa (!) is spinning a two-hitter so far. Hopefully the Brewers found some witch doctor in Miami after the game yesterday and got him to do a reverse curse on the Cardinals. That's my only explanation on how St. Louis has done so well so far this year and the Brewers so bad. It all turns around tonight!

Joe Thatcher picked up his 4th loss of the year for the Padres today. The Padres are pretty disappointing this season.

Webb is one inning away from a complete game to boost his record to 8-0. Nothing like being on pace for a 35-0 record or whatever it is.
