Sickening, the Cubs come back from down 9-1 after 5 innings to win 10-9. They can't really keep this up, can they?

Worst part is that Pinella pulled some starters including DLee. Lee's spot came up, and his replacement, Henry Blanco, hits a home run. Are you kidding me?

Couple stuff like that with a Gallardo injury and I'm starting to think things aren't aligning for the Brewers this season.

 

Won't it be that much sweeter for the Wild Card Brewers to knock off the Cubs in the NLCS behind the just activated Gallardo?

I've stopped expecting the Cubs to regress to the mean, fall back to Earth, or anything like that.

 

This year they just look really good. There are always two or three guys performing, at least, and it's usually four to six. Derrek Lee slumps, Aramis Ramirez picks up; Aramis Ramirez slumps, Alfonso Soriano picks up, etc.
