Yes and no. They have an extra week of ST this year so the season isn't really right around the corner. Generally 2 weeks into these exhibitions, we're more than ready for the season and the last 2 1/2 weeks seem like eternity. Now 2 weeks into spring games, we'll still be 3 1/2 weeks from the opener.

This is the least excited I've ever been for Spring Training. Not that I'm not happy that baseball season is starting, just in years past I would be counting the days down until ST started. This year it was sort of a "oh, it started already?"

 

It's a lot different ballgame (no pun intended) when you catch watch the majority of games on TV and you rely on game recaps for your information.
