Background on Scarpetta's Journey

I really appreciated ready this today:as it provided a lot of detail about Scarpetta's situation that I don't think had been brought to light yet. I seem to remember at some point last season reading on BF.net about the voiding of his original contract, but this really casts everything in a different light.
