2010 Initial Depth Chart and Lineup

Anything and everything is open to suggestion. Here's my rough draft of probable positions and lineup to start the year. Thoughts?

Comments: 1B is a question mark until we see if Juddy is definitely in. I'm thinking of Brent as a question mark until we see him return for sure. Happy has talked about not playing OF anymore, but between Razzzor, Beeks, Tyler, Houlie, and probably Bremt we should be pretty deep there. Razzzor, don't think anything of the fact that you're not listed first at any of the positions, with your glove and the distance you're coming to play with us, you'll be out there -- there's just a buch of different positions to slot you. Same goes for your cousin.

Btw, what are we going to do about keeping a scorebook? Honestly, it means nothing to me, but I gather some of you might feel differently. Do we have people who would be committed to helping score? (Radman, did you say something to me about this or am I imagining things?)

Did Happy give a reason why he didn't want to play OF? He's done great out there so I'm not sure why he would want to move to another position.

 

I'd like to keep the score book. It's fun and nice to look back over the years and see how we have done. I would be willing to help out and I know Radman would too. Tim usually helped a lot with it over the years as well so between the three of us(assuming Tim still wants to help), nobody else would really have to worry about it.

Valpo, don't let where I live influence if I play or not. That shouldn't be any semblance of an issue. Tyler has a better glove than me so he should be playing before me.

One thing, I don't think I hit the ball well enough to be in the four hole so bump me down if you could.

Looks like Juddy will not be a regular this year, he left me a voicemail saying he just wouldn't be available enough to be on the team officially. Hopefully Brent is back, otherwise we could really be short-handed a lot. Without Brent it's now 11 regulars, meaning if more than two guys miss on a night we're at 9. (Luckily, it looks like we have a decent stock of reserves.)

I'd feel pretty comfortable anywhere in the outfield, as well as 1B or 2B. Been playing LF on the other squad and feel pretty good there. 4 putouts last night alone, woot.
