Trick to the Search function?

Is there some trick to using the search function? I type in names of threads I created using the exact name of the thread and it still will give me a "nothing found" message. Does it work at all?

If there is some special technique, I haven't figured it out. You're not the only one.

I saw this on the EZ Board Help Forums, written by an EZ Board Moderator:

 

The Search feature has always had limited capability. It does what it was designed to do - searches a single page of topics. It will sometimes search an entire forum with reasonable efficiency if you first load each page of the topics list, one by one, then click Search. It will not search an entire board.
