Red Sox tickets go on sale today! (but not the Brewers series)

Yeah.

 

Those wonderful Red Sox are selling their single game tickets for every home series in April and May today.

 

Except for the Yankees series.... and the Brewers series.

 

I'm baffled by that one.

I posted a ? on SOSH as to why not the Yanks and Brewers. I don't get it either.

They did this last year as well. Basically, they put a few games that are less marquee and for when it is going to cold as heck on sale earlier in the winter, I guess to drum up interest. The remaining home games (except for the Yankee series) will go on sale in late January. They do not sell Yankee tickets or Green Monster seast online the way they do the rest of the tickets. For that, you have to enter a lottery to have the opportunity to buy.

 

We should organize some sort of pre- or postgame gathering for those coming to Boston for the Brewers series!

There is a book called "Fenway Pole Finder". It's available online. Buy this book for $15 before dropping $300 for 2 seats, only to find out on game day that your only view is of a metal beam.

My family is making the trip as well. We'll hopefully go to Friday and Sunday's games with some sightseeing on Saturday. Some kind of brewerfan meeting would be awesome.

Can anyone confirm this at all? My friend and I are going to Boston for this series and are going to go through stub hub for tickets unless we can get single game tickets. If so, we're gonna try for 2 or 3 of the Brewers games! Thanks!

Also curious for any tips on getting tickets, as the "budget" buys on stubhub are around $80 for the last row of the bleachers.
