Pedro injury - sad, but helps Brewers

[NYChez]

Next weekend, the Brewers were looking at facing Santana and Pedro to start off their series with the Mets. Now, they'll likely face a guy not as good as Pedro. Edited April 3, 2008 by support

Most likely, but up until the injury Pedro didn't look good. Fastball at 86 without good location.

Pedro is old.

Pedro is old.

I'm going to have to agree with that one...

Course has he been givin' the "injury prone" tag yet?

[Kurt]

Matt Wise didn't get to a great start either.

Pedro's been throwing in the 80's for a few years now. He seems to have adapted to his reduced velocity, at least to an extent.

reduced velocity or not, i'm glad we don't have to face him this time around. Pedro is still a good pitcher.
