Haudricourt suggests LH OF signing is near

[MarquesJohnson2000]

Haudricourt is on the "D-List" right now (540 AM) and just hinted that the Brewers are close to signing a left-handed option in the outfield that might be announced in the next few days.

Implication being that Kapler will probably not be back.

Man if he wasn't already signed I would bet the farm it was Frank Catalanotto -- Otherwise the logical LH replacements for Kapler would be Ricky Ledee or Todd Hollandsworth

[sheetswannabe]

Who do you guys think it is? I hope its not Kotsay.

If it were Hollandsworth or Ledee I would puke. I guess its just for a 4th OF but still. Boring offseason. I want something exciting. These little signings are just teases.

Are Hollandsworth and Ledee still in baseball? Or is that part of the joke? The logical replacements being two guys who are LH and who have been out of baseball?

A check reveals Todd Hollandsworth has not played since 2006 and Ledee since 2007.

And were Rangers circa 2001 -- like Kapler.
