When Will the Top Free Agents Sign

Any predictions on when the big Free Agents will be signed?

Do the big big names like Pujols, Prince & Reyes sign somewhere this month? Next Month? What's normal for big free agent signings?

From what I recall, it used to be back in November. Now it seems that everything is pushed into December. Over the past 20 years or so, the Winter Meetings seem to have shifted from a trade cavalcade to agent/GM meetings.

Oh this reminds me I wanted to post this, as I hadn't seen it on BF at all yet (noticed it on the MLB Network's ticker a few days ago) -- the GM meetings this season will be held in Milwaukee.

 

Keep in mind that the GM Meetings are not the Winter Meetings, but it's still neat.

 

Then there are GM Meetings in Milwaukee on Nov. 14-15 and the Winter Meetings in Dallas Dec. 4-8.

So the GMs wanted to go somewhere where they could get some work done and not be distracted, right? Still cool though.
