  1. You forget Baez has a few things going for him. Some legitimate some not 1. He is doing it as an infielder who plays multiple positions. 2. He has a very slight lead in WAR, home runs and RBIs 3. He plays for Chicago 4. He is exciting to watch I dont think 3 or 4 should matter but they will. Really number 2 is a wash almost. Especially when you factor in yelich's commanding lead in ops and all those stats. 1 is legitimate but I think Yelich has covered a ton of ground. In mind it would hard not to give it to the guy who leads in batting average and ops if that happens. Yelich has Báez at least matched on #4. Maybe their personalities are different, but if watching Yelich isn't flat-out exciting, then I don't know how to baseball anymore.
  2. Call it a hunch, but something tells me this trade might wind up working out ok for the Brewers & David Stearns.
  3. Lorenzo Cain says hi. But yes...I still agree with you that those deals will likely be the exception rather than the rule. I remember seeing an interview with Stearns in Spring Training where he spoke about the Cain signing. He said something like they'd determined Cain's skillet was "well insulated", & they felt he'll age better than a typical player. I thought that was interesting -- the DS team definitely has its methods, & so far I can't argue with much of anything they've done.
  4. Don't we control Yelich for 5 years? Yes. He's under contract through 2021, with a club option for 2022.
  5. Of course. The Stanton deal was to clear the huge contract, and Ozuna only has two years of team control remaining, while not playing a premium defensive position (with Yelich on a good value contract for 5 more seasons.)
  6. Well, that's the problem. He's not a special player. Obviously, I disagree
  7. So they kept all the top pitching prospects. I think I can be ok with that... not in love, but ok. Heavy price, but Yelich is a special player.
  8. Picked up BF1 over the weekend, and very happy. Thanks for the recommendations guys!
  9. Does BF1 have a single player campaign? WW1 would be a really interesting & new story to explore Yes. It's great, if not a little frustrating at times. Cool! Anyone have an opinion if the BF1 Revolution edition of the game is worth the extra ~$10? I wouldn't play multiplayer, but I think it includes some additional missions/levels? Or are they only for multiplayer? Thanks... probably going to pick this up over the weekend.

  11. I also got a PS4 (on Black Friday), & apologies if this title has already been touched on, but man is Call of Duty WW2 good. I'm awful at online multiplayer shooters, so I'm still 'that guy' that likes a good single-player campaign. The story is well told, the action is great, and the game is just flat-out fun. I know WW2 games have been done almost to death, but imo this is a well-done iteration. There's a nice mix of styles of levels & combat. I've beaten the game but am replaying it. Highly recommended if WW2 shooters are your thing.
  12. Congrats, man! Talk about patience... your patience looks to finally be paying off!
  13. Good luck, GAME. Sending positive juju your way.
  14. That's the right kind of activity for finding a job, as frustrating as that can be. Glad to hear you found some events!
