Need a cheap car!

My father-in-law got into an accident yesterday. He's fine, but the car is totaled. He's 80, does not have a lot of money at all. He lives in Sullivan and needs some sort of transportation for his trips to the VA Hospital in West Allis and getting groceries, etc. Looking for something for less than $1,000 that does not currently need repairs and might last him for at least 2 or 3 years. Thought I would try Brewerfan since I find the people on this site to be trustworthy.
