Hey Craig, maybe if your team played up to it's payroll expectation you would not have to worry about any of this. Also, so far no plan in Philly for those games. No double header today. Based on the forecast I don't see games being able to be played on Saturday or Sunday in Philly. Pittsburgh is on the road and there is no rain forecasted there. Why not move the games there (at least Saturday and Sunday's games)?

Why are they not showing the Cubs Atlanta score in the upper left? We are also still battling Atlanta for a 1st round bye. Or, on the other side...could be cheering for Cubs to lose HF advantage in the WC series or, less likely, miss the playoffs all together. Edit: nevermind...that game has not started

How is it Brewer announcers don't seem to know how Magic numbers work or games ahead work. Levering just said that Brewers have a two game lead on the Dodgers, but its really like 3 because they have the tie breaker. No. If the The Dodgers win the next 3 games and The Brewers lose the next 3 games, Dodgers have a one game lead, tie breaker or not. You can subtract a game from the Magic number, but you can't add one to the games ahead because of the tie breaker.

?? They are the Brewer announcers. They should know what the magic number is. The math really is not that difficult.

Sorry if this has been discussed before. Magic number is 9, not 10, since the Brewers now own the tie breaker. No? If true, how are the broadcasters unaware of that?

But also, that's all he said....he could have also explained why they retained it. Would have avoided a lot of confusion.

Was just coming here to say how much I enjoyed Fitzpatrick in Peaky Blinders.

I think the best part of last night's game was how Woody, and basically the whole team, just ignored Willson. They kept their focus and exacted their "revenge" by winning. Hoping to see similar behavior tonight if he tries to stir things up again. Although, hard to ignore if he's charging full steam at you.

Maybe this is the "Go ahead and suspend that guy" lineup. Not Miz though!

So MLB is ok with players threatening other players in post game interviews? Trying to think of another situation where a player has said something like this. Are the umpires going to issue a warning before the game starts? This is basically why warnings are issued in games, when they fear there will be "retaliation". Which would not be great for the Brewers. Miz lets one get away from him and he gets tossed.
