Random Question: Gavin Lux and Rookie ball leagues

I've been following Gavin Lux's rookie ball season with the Dodgers. He has done fairly well. I noticed that this week he was moved to the Pioneer rookie league (from the AZ rookie league). Is that considered somewhat of a promotion? He went 3 for 4 in his first Pioneer league game yesterday.

Yes. AZ is normally 17-19 year old players including the rawer HS players or Latin America signings first stop in the US. Pioneer league normally is in the 18-22 yo range, including most drafted college players, top HS draftees and HS players that are promoted from AZ.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."
