Josh Hader #1 LHP Prospect per MLB Pipeline

Don't have link but Brewer website carrying story that Josh Hader is the number one LH pitching prospect in all of baseball according to MLBPipeline.com.

And we had a chance to have both of the top 2 LHP in the minors. I like Ray, but I still would've preferred Groome.

 

Ironic how things turn out sometimes. Hader was considered a "throw-in" with Brett Phillips the crown jewel of the trade. I guess that is why you don't do one person trades.

 

This is probably a topic for the MiLB forum, however.

That first accepted trade (Zack Wheeler and Wilmer Flores for Gomez) looks like a disaster too compared to what we ended up with. Glad the Mets turned it down.
