Brad Ford and Matt Pauley's Minor League Player Discussions

Catching up on Podcast Links --

I imagine most readers here within the Brewerfan Minor League Forum are regular listeners of Matt Pauley's weekly Brewers Extra Innings podcasts.

Brad Ford of BrewCrewBall broke down all the levels of the system in one conversation that was split over three weeks of broadcasts. Do catch up with Matt for the full podcasts, especially the most recent from Monday night 12/2 (Rookie Level), but here are your links and starting points for the minor league chats --

AAA and AA (07:00 minute mark)

High-A and A-Ball (14:45 minute mark)

Rookie Level (20:00 minute mark)

They do a great job. I always enjoy their sessions.

Brewers farmhand RHP Tate Budnick, a non-drafted signee in 2018 who split time in Maryvale and Helena that summer, missed all of 2019 with Tommy John surgery, performed last May.

Tate was a guest on the northwest-based Diamonds and Roses podcasts to discuss his baseball history to date, starting back as a three-year-old. Part One covers his early baseball life (pre-Brewers).

Enjoy that if you wish, but more relevant for fans here would be Part Two which includes the need for a quick turnaround once the Brewers expressed interest in signing him post-draft (44:40 minute mark).

Nice insights into that process and the MLB rehabbers who helped guide Tate post-surgery.
