8-3 close out victory and Cousins opened the game with a scoreless frame. Get that young man back to that roster and let's hope he finds that mid-season form. The Big Club bullpen needs some relief.

Pablo Reyes' Grand Slam Leads Sounds Over Indians, 8-3 in Season Finale

In a fun season finale, the Sounds led 2-0 (top of 4th inning) and 3-2 (fifth inning) before a Jamie Westbrook RBI single and Pablo Reyes grand slam blew open the game in the 7th inning. Reyes' blast was with 2 outs, after David Fry had doubled and Renato Nunez had walked. On the mound, Victor Castaneda struggled a bit (2 runs in 2.2 innings), but 6 other pitchers tossed 6.1 innings and yielded only 1 run.

 

The AAA Nashville Sounds finish their highly successful season with a record of 70-58.
