Tuesday’s thrashing of the Mariners was a historic one, with the Brewers tying their franchise record for the largest margin of victory, as well as matching a handful of other historic offensive records as well. Lost in the shuffle was a strong outing from Kyle Harrison, who went five innings of scoreless innings and struck out eight.

There would be no encore on Wednesday, however. That deficit was too much to overcome, despite a 4-RBI day from Joey Ortiz, as the Mariners evened the series at one with a 7-5 victory.

Still, the bullpen held behind him, and the Brewers took the rubber match 7-4.
