Breakdown
The Brewers started off their week facing the Blue Jays at home. Starter Colin Rea turned in his best start of the season, throwing seven innings of one-run ball. Backed by Joel Payamps and Trevor Megill in the bullpen, the Brewers would win game one 3-1. Game two saw the Blue Jays staff, led by starter Yusei Kikuchi, shut down the Brewers' offense in a 3-0 shutout. The rubber match was started by Tobias Myers, who was looking for an encore after his previous start in Detroit. He would deliver on the promise, hurling six innings of one-run baseball. The Brewers would add a five-run sixth inning, and Trevor Megill would survive a late offensive surge in the 9th, with the final being 6-5.
Cincinnati would come to town after a day off Thursday. Game one would see Freddy Peralta toe the slab, but his struggles would continue, surrendering 10 hits and six runs. The contest would see the Brewers lose in heartbreaking fashion, with their late comeback ending with Blake Perkins popping out on a bunt for the final out after Jake Bauers was thrown out as the tying run at home. Milwaukee would rebound in game two behind opener Jared Koenig and pseudo-starter Byrse Wilson. Joey Ortiz would hit a three-run homer, and Trevor Megill would labor through another 9th inning, allowing Milwaukee to set up a rubber match after a 3-1 victory. Sunday’s contest saw the Brewers capture their 8th straight series victory over the Reds, backed by Willy Adames' go-ahead three-run homer and Blake Perkins' defensive heroics in the 9th inning.

Casually the longest homerun Willy Adames has hit in a Brewer uniform.
Name a more iconic duo than Brewers and baserunning. I’ll wait.
