Butler did start tonight - 2 scoreless innings so far. Game start was delayed by weather. Can't seem to get the Cardinals audio. Anyone else able to???

Broadcast is spotty at best. Sometimes it cuts out all together, sometimes another game overrides, and some of the time there has been a horrible echo. I applaud SpaceCoast for the effort, but it isn't working very well.

T-rats lose 2-1. Complete games for both pitchers. All 3 runs on solo dingers. No walks or errors for either team. At least the Rattler bull pen got a needed night off.

Tonight's lineup posted on Rattler Radio blog. No Lawrie again. Curious.

Just tuned in to Rattlers game - no Lawrie again tonight. Anyone know why?

That's two good starts for Watten and nothing to show for it. I'm guessing he would have gone deeper, but for the rain delay, so that was really unlucky. Unfortunate, but good to see him putting very good innings together.

Rattlers win the first game of the day 2-1. Meadows worked 5 and got the win to go to 9-1, Ritchie worked a perfect 6th for a hold, and Henderson got his 14th save (in 14 opportunities). Dennis and Marseco with RBIs (Marseco's on a suicide squeeze).

Meadows got his third start and just went 8-0. 6IP, 3R, 2ER. Got the benefit of a timely 3R HR by Lawrie in the top of the 7th. to put him in line for the W. Liam Ohlman threw 3 scoreless innings to save the 4-3 game.

Alfonso is on the Helena Roster right now. I think he spent most of spring training playing with the Brevard group, but then at the last minute was assigned to extended. Who knows why? I was impressed by his bat and how he handled his catching duties in the spring games I saw, so extended surprised me. I did see that he only hit .227 last summer in the Pioneer League, though.
