  1. Or how about give credit to the other player who fouled off some great pitches and worked the count
  2. Mears: 2.96 ERA Anderson: 2.92 ERA Koenig: 3.26 ERA Ashby: 2.06 ERA Uribe: 1.79 ERA MeGill: 2.09 ERA Not sure why so many people hate on Anderson..
  3. Interesting strategy by Counsell sitting Shaw and Cassie today when they were the reasons why they won the past 3 games...
  4. I mean the Brewers rely on those type of hits going through. They aren't the team that's gonna drive the ball really into the gap or homer. It's the grounders that get through and line drives for a base hit.
  5. You mean the 7-8 pitch AB he drew for a walk in the 9th yesterday and now a smoked groundball this AB? We're gonna go off a 4-5 game sample when he's been consistent all year?
  6. 2 more balls over 100 MPH for outs...unreal bad luck for the Brewers this series
  7. Hunter Baumgardt @hunterbonair · 2h Pat Murphy said he told the team after the game how proud he was of them and sometimes things just don’t go your way. “We showed tremendous heart. Tremendous relentlessness.”
  8. Based on “deserved to win” metrics the Brewers have beaten the Cubs 3/4 games. The Cubs have had everything go right for them the last 3 games. Brewers are smoking the ball right at them. Contreras last 12 outs 10 of them have been 100 mph ev or higher In 162 game season you’re gonna have a lot of ups and downs and good/bad stretches.. it’s baseball
  9. The cubs have a very good pitching staff…my god you guys are bunch of whiners
  10. In July he had 7 BB in 4 starts. How is that bad? A guy who throws 101 mph is gonna have control problems at times
  11. Colin Rae walked 3 batters in a row. I suppose the Cubs should send him back down to AAA as well
  12. Ok so take out those 4 runs and the games would be 3-0 Brewers 6-4 Cubs 4-1 Cubs 4-3 Cubs 14-11 Cubs in favor of scoring. To me that seems like 3 super close games that could have went either way in a series. Or otherwise known as baseball It’s not like the Nats series where Brewers were winning 10-0 every game
  13. They lost 3 in a row not “4” Contreras was 6 inches away from us winning that game most likely and everyone is acting like we got blown out and overmatched
