    Murph said twice during his press conference that "they didn't want Merrill to beat them". So why not bring Hall in make Merrill hit off of a LHP? I just don't get it.

    All of you who have pointed out the poor offense lately are spot on. The offense has not been good for a significant stretch. It needs to be better. But this game was still winnable!!!!! If it was managed properly, and it clearly wasn't. Murph had no plan in the 7th if things didn't go well with Henderson. I really wish the Brewers media would ask him the tough questions instead of simply letting him off the hook like they always do. If Murph is thinking he knows Henderson has never gone into the seventh before with any success. He was near his pitch limit. He had gotten into deep counts in the previous inning and was near the end. How can you go into the inning with no one getting ready right away? As soon as he allows a guy on base you yank him and let your bullpen do their job. Hall and Patrick should be getting loose but no. The Brewers could have easily won this game and the offense certainly didn't do its part but this one is just as much on the mismanagement of a game situation that should have been something a MLB manager should be thinking about. Obviously the coaching staff wasn't prepared to make the right call.

    How can you not have a guy getting ready during that inning as soon as the inning started, any signs of trouble take him out of the game. You could have had Hall up and Patrick up to play matchup if needed. Instead you just hope like hell that he gets out of it, I just don't get Murph's decision making sometime.

    I am glad they didn't trade him. I think if healthy, he will be a star for the Crew.

    The Shucker pitching staff should be embarrassed by their recent performance. They are making their opponents look like the 1927 Yankees.

    Unless they can pull this game out it looks like a 3-3 road trip. Which isn't great, but you can take it.

    I sure hope that is not the case, they play for the Brewers. Every year the rumors are that they will go get the big add at the deadline and it has almost never happened under the Stearns and Arnold regime. Not getting Skubal shouldn't be some sort of shock, especially if the ask was Henderson, Pena, plus.

    Offensive run production on the road trip. 0, 8, 3, 6, 3, 0 so far). Against two teams that don't scream great pitching.

    Couldn't agree more, going into the season the four top offensive threats would be Yelich, Chourio, Contreras, and Turang. One of those guys has lived up to those expectations, the other three have been average at best and abysmal at worst. Thank god that Bauers has been so good and the bottom of the order has been better as of late.

    Do pitchers that throw "hard" have TJ more than guys that don't? I don't think so.

    I would agree with this to a degree, you can always get better and the goal should be to maximize what our pitching can do. Elite pitching is probably the best way to make up for our lack of offense. With that said, the offense needs to be better in order for this team to compete in October. As it is currently performing it will not. The season long production numbers show that they have a good offense, but the issues with batting with RISP and men on 3B with less that 2 outs over the past month or so are troubling.

    Is there any proof that injuries occur more readily when you throw 100 mph fastballs or 94 mph sliders? My guess is the threat of injury is pretty much the same.

    Maybe its just me, but it sure seems like when Miz gives up hard contact the cutter seems to be the pitch that he throws, I don't see the need for the cutter to be used as often as it is.

    If this team is serious about contending for a WS Yelich needs to produce, He's not. If he is in the lineup he should be hitting 7th or 8th. But that will never happen. Unfortunately, his meager hitting will be used in the top order. The leadership of this team has to see that he is not right and a tough decision needs to be made
