I don't know anything about Wakamatsu. But I do think it's funny that none of the six candidates or so was named Ned Yost. I don't know if that means Yost wasn't interested, but I find it at least a little telling.

The guy has been there less than 2 months and you are already calling him better than DM? Let's see who he signs as free agents/trades for before we make that call.

There's a pretty big difference between amateur scouting and general management. Jack Z's a smart guy, but a lot of time and deals need to pass before we can realistically do some sort of comparison.
