That was an awesome game seven. I really feel for the Royals though. They had no chance against Bumgarner. He dominated them.

He was cluch for the Brewers during our run. All the best Jerry in your retirement! I'm sure he will be around the game in some sort of way in the years to come.

Sad news for the Brewers. Corey was an admirable player over the years for the Crew. None of the remaining options at first base look very promising.

That was a great article. Clearly, Seattle is a mess, and the Cano signing is another indication of that.

This is really madness. Mccann's best years are behind him.

I agree with the overall sentiment of this post. The Brewers remain a very immature team. We don't need the Cardinals to have any more motivation to beat us than they already do. When you have Morgan and Grienke talking smack, you create external problems for the team that do not need to be there. I just hope this team grows up and becomes more professional in their approach toward the game. If not, I feel we will continue to lose to teams that are more focused on what actually matters, playing sound baseball and winning.

Bargain. Jack Z has the Mariners in great shape to win the AL West. I wish he was our GM http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif. Instead we pay 30 million for Wolf and 42 Million for Soup. :*(

Congrats to the best pitcher in mlb, man is he fun to watch.

I think it's important to remember that Pablo Sandoval is the de facto NL rookie of the year.

This deserves the proverbial [expletive deleted]. The Twins took us hard on this one. I would of thought we got ripped off is we would of traded Seth McClung for Gomez. (edit: language --1992)

I hope Sheets is back in 2010 with another outside option. How serious is Webb's injury?

Glad to see this deal done so soon. Hoffman is fantastic, I look forward to him playing next season, and hopefully retiring as a Brewer.

Suppan and Parra need to go to the BP next year. What a joke.

What an abysmal season for Bush this year.

I know that Bradley has been an enigma for the Cubbies this year, however, I feel he is one of the few players the Brewers could send Soup for this off season and greatly benefit from the trade. After news of the Cubs suspending Bradley for the remander of the year, it is clear that Bradley is on the way out. Bradley's career OPS of 821 is something to be coveted and would be great protection for Fielder in the 5 hole. He could play CF for our team, and finally rid us of Soup's terrible contract, while securing us an above average OF and likely type B compensation picks for Cameron. Without Cam's and Soup's contracts, the team would have around ten million to throw around for a SP either through trade or free agency. Thoughts?
