I'd be willing to put money on Omar Aguilar being a significant part of the Brewers' bullpen in the second half of the season.

 

IMO, we have some of the best AAA bullpens in recent Brewer times - any one of Aguilar, Pena, Bateman, Dillard, Chris Smith, Wright, or Welch could be legit options in the big league bullpen this year.

I think Gillespie has a shot if Braun or Hart goes down with an injury. It depends on how he's producing at AAA but I don't think Nelson is seen as anything more than a major league backup/AAAA player so in case of injury, I'd expect Gillespie to leap frog him on the depth chart.

I imagine it would be bad, but would he be Carlos Lee bad, or would it be spin around in circles and fall down bad?

I'm confused on the difference. Mainly because I think being a statue has the same outcome.
