Carl Pavano to Minnesota

For a PTBNL. His ERA has been high, but the rest of the numbers this season have been quite good. I would have been happy to have him.

Me too, I thought this might well be a waiver trade for the Crew. Gleeman says he had one bad outing that ruined his ERA. As of this second, he's better than Burns, that's all it takes for a minor upgrade.

I have no idea why the Brewers didn't trade for him. They could have gotten him for next to nothing, and we wouldn't have to watch Burns and his .375 opponent batting average trotted out there every 5 days.

Since he was in the AL and claimed by the Twins there was no way for the Brewers to claim him
