Charter is telling me the same thing in Madison. This has been the case in the past, but the game still gets broadcast. Fingers crossed...

Yeah, I'm not getting anything on Dish Network, either. There's an "Astros at Brewers" listed on one of the FSN alternates but I'm blacked out of it...must be the Houston feed?

This is annoying.

FSW is not doing the game today. It is first game of the year that isn't being broadcast on either Fox or WLMW.

As of right now the game on July 8th with San Francisco won't be on either. Our only hope is that MLB picks up the Giants feed.

I think this may be the only Brewers game all season that is not broadcast by either FSWI, WMLW, Fox, ESPN or TBS.
Then this guarantees something historic, or at least memorable, will happen during the game, after which we can all lambast TV nation for not broadcasting it. Here's hoping the historic/memorable something will be good for the Brewers.

Edit: presumably not a no-hitter for Dave Bush. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

Come on crew, get this one!

Nothing better than listening to afternoon baseball.... Well maybe not working and listening would be better but oh well.

For those not able to watch on MLB.TV, that was probably one of the worst calls I've seen this year. I'm sure that Cory is all over that. Johnson's glove didn't ever even come close to Casey. Geez.

This must be your game to work? You're the eyes of bf.net for the day, then. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

No, Laura. I am watching on MLB.TV at work. It's a long story, but I'm not blocked here. To answer the question, Johnson made a nice snare of a one-hop shot down the line, and Casey was about 2 feet from the bag. As he went back in, he basically went through the legs of Johnson, who made contact with Casey, but certainly never came CLOSE to tagging him. Casey, Fischer, and Macha all went crazy right away. The ump was right behind the play, not sure how he missed it.

I suppose a proxy server could get around the local blackout... Giving it a try

Edit: It works. ...but how to justify $60 for one game...?

Reds/Phillies already over on MLB Network. MLB Tonight is on, so there will probably be a lot of updates and cut-ins, just an FYI.

I really hate it when the announcer (in this case Provus) feels the need to state, "it could have been worse." Just one of my least favorite comments. You're right Corey, it could have been worse. It could have been better also.

Bush isn't going to last long at this rate.
This statement could probably be applied to both his outing today and his slot in the starting rotation. Important to note that if Doug Davis is coming back on normal rest, they share the same schedule right now.
