    The Reds literally caught every break imaginable in this game. Really glad to be done playing De La Cruz for the year. This loss stings a lot less with the Braves and Dodgers losing.

    Yeah kinda weird. The last game he played was on Wednesday and he played the entire game. He's played just about every game this year so not sure if they are just giving him a break until the playoffs start or if there's a legit injury.

    Matt Arnold really needs to rethink his trade deadline strategy. Whatever he's doing isn't working. A lot of dud moves, particularly his moves for pitching.

    Difficult not to be concerned about our young starting rotation, who appears to be completely gassed at this point (outside of Henderson). Hopefully they can find a second gear heading into the postseason. Our offense is typically not good enough to win these slugfest type games.
