2010-08-30 Brewers (Wolf) at Reds (Bailey), 6:10 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 5-4, 10 innings]

[ilovebeer]

5 walks for Wolf tonight.

[ilovebeer]

this is not Wolf's night, get him out of there.

[ilovebeer]

wow, what a surprise, that wolf got out of that mess with only 1 run being scored.

[BrewCrewForever]

I love Cain, Gomez wishes he could work a walk and then steal a a base like Lo just did.

[ilovebeer]

Cain has 5 sb all ready

[BrewCrewForever]

Escobar! Nice triple.

[jeffy]

As a couple others have noted, I was surprised seeing how many empty seats there are for a team in 1st place.

I wondered if it was just tonight, but looking up the numbers it looks like they are not drawing all that well despite their success. The Brewers are actually outdrawing them by a significant margin, averaging 34,669 to the Reds 26,070.

Unbelievable catch by Cain!!! Hope he is okay.

[Mr QL]

Amazing catch right there. Looks like he's alright. Lorenzo quickly becoming one of my favorite players.

[ilovebeer]

I hope Gomez wants to take back what he said.

[ilovebeer]

another great play by Cain.

[SoCal Brew Crew Fan]

You win Lorenzo...I'm ordering a Cain jersey!!!

[hurricanecrush]

That catch by Cain was sweet. I wonder if anyone's ever called him sugar. Lorenzo "Sugar" Cain has an old school feel to it.

[Invader3K]

I think Cain said in an interview that one of his AAA coaches called him that (I could be completely wrong, though).

[hurricanecrush]

After thinking about it, I guess I'd be surprised if nobody has called him that, it is pretty obvious.

[BrewCrewForever]

Another inning for Loe. Wow.

[hawing]

Under 15000 for tonight's paid attendance. That's just sad.

[ilovebeer]

when was the last time the brewers had a crowd below 20000?

[ilovebeer]

nice job tonight Loe

[ilovebeer]

lets hope for extra's

Under 15000 for tonight's paid attendance. That's just sad.

It's pathetic, they don't deserve a first place team...but hope they stay there, given the alternative.

[ilovebeer]

the last time the brewers had a crowd below 20000 was may 31, 2007 vs florida ,17704 was the crowd that thursday night. and if i remember that was a walkoff homerun by helms, i want to say. Edited August 30, 2010 by ilovebeer
