I know it is very early, but any chance this is the year Davis puts it together?

 

He is now 4 for 10, which means nothing. However, what I am really liking is his 4 walks with no Ks.

That's key. He generally hit better last year, including his walk rate rebounding, but his K-rate skyrocketed as well.

 

Davis also didn't play any CF last year; I'd like to see him get some time there, because if he can cover it at least decently, he'd be an interesting enough fourth outfielder, not allergic to walks and with some gap power. A poor man's Nori Aoki? If he can't play center at all, I doubt that at 25 he's going to begin carving himself a career as a corner outfielder, but I guess you never know.
