TT deserved Better and now he most likely be moved out of the Rotation. Gonzo and Ax can be let go as far as i am concerned.I like Kintzler and Wooten now as the 7-8 Men. I like the Idea to teach J Franco to play 1st base because he basically learning on the job.I think he becomming a good posibility for 2014.

Then, after he walks two, we send the biggest head case we have out there. Seriously, what compelled Ron Roenicke to send Axford out there with two men on, no out, and 36,000 fans screaming? Did he pick his name out of a hat?

Honest question -- in this season, why do you care? The team isn't close to contending -- do you want to see them play their way out of the top 5 picks in the draft?

The Axford apologists are running out of excuses. He hasn't had any run of scoreless inning play to brag about lately. 9 runs in the last 8 games.

 

Horrible in his last 9 games, and I am not saying his is the best arm in the pen, but arent you the guy who has been defending Yuni?

 

In June, Yuni went 19-100 and had 4 walks with(since I know you care about this particular stat so much) 2 homeruns. Even the best players have a bad stretch.

Two unrelated players which should be judged separately. The dread and utter game self-destruction that comes with an Axford appearance is far worse than anything Yuni has done, even with his defensive blunders. Plus we're paying Axford 5 million. Yuni is just a part time utility man. Who in the bullpen is worse than Axford? Burgos?

Gonzalez and badenhop come to mind. The problem is, until very recently, Yuni wasn't being used as a utility man. I was just showing you that bad stretches happen for everyone. Even Yuni.
