WHAT IS ROSENTHAL DOING THROWING A STRIKE ON A 1-2 PITCH IDIOT PITCHING 101

yes it was stupid. Especially when facing the Brewers who swing at everything.

It bugs me to no end when guys are caught looking in late tie games with runners in scoring position. A single might win the game, and the inning ends with the bat on your shoulders.

doesn't matter when Herrara watches strike 3 sail by...does Kintzler have to go out there for another inning after already throwing about 30 pitches? Over/under on his next DL trip will be this weekend if he does.

...nevermind, he's only at about 20. still not the greatest thing to have to do

It should have been pretty obvious to the on deck hitter that the cards pitcher was going after the hitters with 2 strike counts. No excuses to not swing away with 2 strikes. You adjust. You pay attention.
