That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I think he bunted for a hit but even if he sacrificed I,highly doubt Matheny called for it.

Players do dumb things on their own from time to time.......as we have seen often during the years.

Perez ejected after Wainright gets a pitch a couple inches off the plate to end the inning. Good for Perez. Screw the Cardinals and the umpire.

Seconded. It would be nice to see Counsell stand up for a player every now and then though.

Horrible baserunning by Elmore, and per usual, horrible decision by Sedar.

I can't see blaming Elmore, he had to make sure it fell. Sedar never should have sent him, NEVER! As soon as he saw Elmore hesitate, Sedar should have known not to send him. If we become competitive again in the future, Ed Sedar needs a demotion or an out and out firing. It has been this way for years with no improvement. We can't count on him to make good decisions when the games actually count.

It wasn't good base running by Elmore. Was it horrible? Maybe not, but he should know that was going to fall. That was a line drive and most guys know right away to go.

It was pretty obviously a basehit all the way. Elmore has to have pretty terrible instincts to need to freeze or go back on that.

I agree though that Sedar is terrible and needs to go.

Why would the infield not be playing in on that?

One run only ties it and a hit gives up the lead. So just get the out. If they played infield in there they're down 2-1 right now.

I don't think so, looked like it would have been right at him.

Anyway, that's the game, 2-1 anyway.

Poor pitch calling to Wong. Drop a curve on his back there and that at bat is over. Pew, pee Brewers... pew!
