So is his son ready to take over the reins if that happens? I know he isn’t selling the team.

😎

If only we could spend lots of money……like the Mets!

Yep I think this was exactly the thinking ……as soon as it became a 2 run game they didn’t want to take the chance of one guy getting on and Ohtani being the tying run against a righty…..even one as good as Megill.

I assumed he was being sarcastic……otherwise it’s a pretty untimely response…..lol

Murph playing chess guys

Bump…….we lost our GM who wanted to go back to NY and manage the team he grew up rooting for as a kid. We lost our manager who wanted so badly to reset the salary market that he left his home town team and moved 90 miles south to their biggest rival. He built an organization that has done nothing but win the last 9 years in the smallest market in the majors………promoted from within at every turn…….and trusted his guys. Now we are going back to the WS…….just one more step to go. What a ride it’s been.

This team man…..Mitchell against Scott and Hambone against Diaz? Seriously? I mean are you freaking kidding me?

Ashby…….wow

Hambone feeling good enough to be in there vs the righty
