Shaw had a .531 OPS against LHP this year before that at bat. Really struggling against southpaws this season.

Yep, almost would've gone Arcia. He's making decent contact since the call up, and far less likely to get doubled up.

He's a double play waiting to happen too. Arcia is fairly fast, and even a K gets it back to the top of the order.
