He's been raking after being signed as an undrafted FA in late June. Can't believe this guy went undrafted. He had a terrific junior year at Florida International, blasting 16 HR, and slugging .686, and earned a national collegiate player of the week award in April. Glad the Brewers grabbed him, but amazing nobody took him in the draft.

I really wonder what the story is on why he didn't get drafted? He has absolutely raked over his first 126 AB's between Helena and Wisconsin...

Looks like he was injured his junior year as he only played 13 games (and didn't do well in those) and didn't play summer ball after that season. Big senior year, but fairly low walk rate and didn't do much prior to his senior year.
