I’m prepared to be disappointed

Travis Etienne here we come!

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Leatherwood going this early is a bit of a surprise. I thought he might be someone we would consider at 29.

It's shocking. I was thinking he'd be someone we might consider in the 2nd round. He seems to be a guard in the NFL, not a tackle, but...if it leaves Darrisaw on the board a little longer...

I'm surprised Darrisaw is still there. I never had him on my list as I never expected him to get near us.

Packers would almost certainly need to move up past Minny to get him. No way they can let him get past them.

He's easily my top choice, but it's probably a bit of a reach.

I'm sure Demovsky already has the article penned about how Rodgers didn't get input into their draft pick and is even more mad at their FO....just gotta wait for them to pick before clicking "post".

There goes Farley...darn

One gone...

Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech

Greg Newsome, CB, Northwestern

Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame

After that, it was Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss.

I still prefer Bateman over Moore (either one) at WR.

You could probably add Darrisaw and Bateman, IMO.

I dunno why anyone lets themselves be upset with the pick. I've never quite understood it unless it's like a backup QB or kicker or something. The rest are total crapshoots. Nobody knows who will pan out and who won't, or how quickly a position you think is well stocked becomes one of need.

I'd be fine with an OL, DL, WR, basically anything.

I really dislike Demovsky. Some writers I disagree with...some just throw stuff out there to get clicks. He's obviously part of the later.

I had some mixed feelings about Bateman. I've seen him more mocked in the 2nd round than the 1st.

Any thoughts on Christian Barmore?

I'd be happy with him. The knock is that he can't rush the passer, but he finished up the season looking pretty dominant.
