"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

T-Rats jump out to an early lead and hang on. Solo shots from Valerio and Warren would be all they need as four pitchers combine for 12 K's and 1 earned run.

Looking back to April, RHP Zach Vennaro being assigned to Biloxi from Maryvale in 2019 and the lost 2020 season was a reach, despite Vennaro's presence in big league spring training games in 2021. Vennaro turned 25 in June.

Getting into the prospects, we discuss the seasons of pitchers such as Ethan Small, Zack Brown, Noah Zavolas, Leo Crawford, and Lucas Erceg. At the plate, we talk about some of the Crew's top hitting prospects, including Brice Turang and Garrett Mitchell, who have both donned Shuckers uniforms this season. Also discussed was Tristen Lutz, David Hamilton, Thomas Dillard, and others. It's a bit of a super-sized episode this week with lots of in-depth discussion on these Brewers prospects."

Bennett pitches 5-2/3 scoreless; Valerio and Warren homer for Wisconsin

By Chris Mehring

LG Castillo's solid season in a limited role continues.

Kudos to many others, but if Felix Valerio is not the Organization's Player of the Year, there is a problem. Thank you Mets, for the lottery ticket that is half-way scratched to victory.
