before yesterday, they had played ga state, western Kentucky, UConn, ball state , and Miami Oh.... so those gaudy defense stats need to have some context. those aren't exactly powerhouses they've been playing.

And in the last couple of years Army has taken both Oklahoma and Michigan to overtime.

 

Ask their fans if they want to play Army again.

Completely unrelated, but my daughter attended this game as a journalist. She is a college student in digital communications and attended this with a press pass with her class. That meant she was down on the field taking pictures of the game. During the first Badger TD, we paused the game to catch some pictures of her in the background of the TD celebration.

 

Then later, during the goal line rush TD (where we just barely pushed it across the line), she was in the background watching to see if they got it in.
