I'm not far off from that either but when you're up 2 scores I think leaning a hair more conservative isn't a bad play.

Yes, no one is falling for that, but they want to give the punter a little more room. I see them actually snapping it one of these times thinking the defense isn't ready .

I suppose their thinking was that the difference between 16 and 17 is more significant than the difference between 15 and 16 as far as an in game lead.
