As ridiculous as that call is, it doesn't really make sense that roughing wipes out a pick. It doesn't have any bearing on the interception itself. It should be enforced on the return.

Too much variability to call it like that. You could have a different play where a defender comes in with a comes in with a hand to the face of the QB for a roughing and definitely influences the throw.
