I'd say it's related to the fact that they thought they were getting a stud and they got a .260 average and career-low .750 OPS.

He flied out with men on base. I know it doesn't sound like much but he gets booed loudly everytime he fails to reach base - and sometimes when he gets on base but fails to reach more than one base.
