Any Coin Collectors in the house?

I have a $50 2001 American Gold Eagle coin (1 oz. fine gold) that I am looking to sell. If anyone is interested let me know.

 

Also, if anyone could let me know where in Milwaukee I could go to sell it I would appreciate that as well.

Any coin shop in the yellow pages would make you an offer, I assume.

Selling a gold coin is about as easy as heading to the bank. Any coin/gold shop will buy it from you. I know in West Bend we have two on Main Street.

 

An ounce of gold is going for around $736 right now. The coin is worth a little more - cost of the minting and distrubuting. But I would imagine you would have no problem getting at least $700 for it.

 

Ebay is always an option too.

Yeah it was way easier than I thought. I walked in, they took a look at it and handed me $700.00.
