These graphics are a development for next year.
Tell me what you think of them. I can work on
these some more, get the old ones back, or if
someone has a suggestion I can go with.

Tommorow marks the first day the Cubs can clinch. We need guys to step up in this game to prevent that from happening. It starts with Cappy. We know you are better than what you have shown Cappy and now is the time to show it.

I like the graphics, Woogie! Thanks for the hard work this year. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Win it for Cappy!

It'd be pretty sweet if win #82 came on the same night that Capuano's dubious "losing streak" comes to an end. It'd take a borderline miracle to make the playoffs now, but I'd still like to see the Brewers finish strong to end the year.

The graphics are fine. I kind of miss the splits, etc; though admittedly, right now looking at a Brewers' bullpen list might hurt my eyes.

Dear Brewers:

Going 1-0 tonight would help on several levels:

1. 82nd win. Third time's the charm?

2. Three consecutive punch-to-the-gut games is no way to proceed, for anyone involved.

3. Win it for baby Luzinski. How can you say no to a newborn?

I know you're motivated, and I know you're capable. Just put it together for tonight.

Love you lots,

hawing

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

So let me get this straight...Our playoff hopes are coming down to Capuano, Bush, and Suppan against Maddux, Young, and Peavey. Sounds good. I like those match-ups. Actually, may not be too bad, I have kind of had visions of Capuano as a secret weapon this weekend, Bush is good at home. Young is not so good on the road. Peavey will be on short rest, and this game is what they brought Suppan in for. Now, I have little doubt the Cubs are going to win the first 2 in this series rendering the whole thing meaningless anyway, but I guess you never know.

I hate Rush, but I'm all for posting videos for no real reason. Here's a great one by a great artist about a Believer (Ties in nicely with the Monkees reference yesterday as well)...

I thought Peavy wasn't pitching on Sunday.

When did that change?

It's generally believed that if the Padres need a win on the final day of the season to secure a wildcard or division title, they'll pitch Peavy on 3 days rest. Considering they only have a 1 game lead on the Mets and Rockies heading into today, it's looking like that will be the case.

Go with those graphics, Woogie. They are top-notch!

Look for me at the game guys. I have a sign tonight which I am sure will be on when Cappy notches this W. You'll know when you see me.

Tivo is set for the pregame, post game, BBT, Sportscenter and the ballgame both on FSNWI and ESPN. Time for some divine intervention tonight guys. And we have Yogi 'the-math-is-on-our-side' Yosta back in the dugout so keep these home fires burning and don't give up yet....

...and that goes for YOU TOO BREW CREW!!!!!

our magic number is 6

This, to me, is pretty much the season. If they lose tonight, there's no more hope. It's still going to take a miracle, but usually the last 3 games of the year in the past, we've all been praying for it to mercifully be over. Now, we're praying the Cubs lose and the Crew wins. What a change! I'm going to a HS FB game tonight, so I'll probably miss the first bit of the game, but will be rooting for Cappy to win. Let's get 82!
