  1. As of today's (4/15) fourth inning, Brewers pitchers have allowed 53 runs, with 33 of them (62%) coming with two outs. Of the 17 home runs allowed, 13 (76%) have come with two outs. This seems like a higher percentage than it should be, but I can't seem to find any long-term statistics to compare to. Is there any thing to this trend, besides small sample size? A tendancy for pitchers to lose focus or relax once two outs are recorded, perhaps? If anyone can locate any other statistics, I would appreciate it.
  2. I have some extra spring training tickets priced at face value, plus the convenience fees. Feel free to contact me if interested. Cubs at Maryvale, 3/16 -- 4 tickets, Section 105, Row H -- $25/each. (Edited: 3/7 tickets are gone.)
  3. I contacted my ticket rep, and they mentioned that any partial season ticket holder who already has opening day in their plan (opening day plus or fan's choice) was not sent the "opening day tickets form." All the other 20-game holders did receive the form.
  4. Sunday's parking pass is gone, but Saturday's remains.
  5. I have a parking pass for Saturday (and Sunday) that I will sell for what I paid -- $15.
  6. Sent you a PM.
  7. Badgerfan -- I am interested and sent you a PM.
  8. From my favorite episode: Mr. Burns: We don't have to be adversaries, Homer. We both want a fair union contract. Homer: [thinking] Why is Mr. Burns being so nice to me? Mr. Burns: And if you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. Homer: [thinking] Wait a minute. Is he coming onto me? Mr. Burns: I mean, if I should slip something into your pocket, what's the harm? Homer: [thinking] My God. He *is* coming onto me. Mr. Burns: After all, negotiations make strange bedfellows. [chuckle] Mr. Burns: [wink] Homer: [thinking] Aaaaaagh! [aloud] Homer: Sorry, Mr. Burns, but I don't go in for these backdoor shenanigans. Sure, I'm flattered, maybe even a little curious, but the answer is no. Grampa: We can't bust heads like we used to. But we have our ways. One trick is to tell stories that don't go anywhere. Like the time I caught the ferry to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for m'shoe. So I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt. Which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Gimme five bees for a quarter, you'd say. Now where was I... oh yeah. The important thing was that I had an onion tied to my belt, which was the style at the time. You couldn't get white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...
