  1. Why aren't you all PRAYING harder? lol Man, the Brewers stunk that one up last night. Now we got Robbie Ray salivating to improve his numbers with the limp noodle Brewers offense. Oh boy.. Too be honest, Sunday I just had a feeling this Padres series was going to be bad when I saw the probable starters for San Diego.
  2. So, I don't want to hear anyone grousing about not getting to bed at an acceptable time tonight. Something told me when Harrison's control in the 2nd inning was AWFUL that a Grand Slam was coming. And it did and I turned it off.
  3. Scar was told to hit the bricks until he decides to look the part. Good for Bryse, man that must have been something else when he was told to hit the bricks after pitching great relief vs. Twins last Friday.
  4. So, game 2 of the series and Walker Buehler await the Brewers. My fears about this trio of starters starting to hit their stride was well founded. Casey Mize pitched well tonight even if the Brewers offense was the walking dead again.
  5. Each team gets a challenge in the extra innings.
  6. I remember 4-man rotations with a swing man in the bullpen. And there were lots of COMPLETE GAMES. Oh I miss those days.
  7. Did that really just happen? My god, I hope someone tells him to clean it up should he get back into another game.
  8. Sigh - the Brewers got the good Casey Mize tonight. Don't think they touch the setup and closer for the Padres in the 8th & 9th.
  9. Andrew Vaughn runs like Jake from Major League
  10. All 3 of these starters are types that can shut down the Brewers with relative ease. Somehow, someway the Brewers are 30 games over .500 with an offense that has become very uneven over the past month. These pitchers have the stuff to shut the Brewers down. That is why I am concerned.
  11. The West Coast swing is next. The Padres starters scare the bejeezus out of me. And then Los Angeles. The Dodgers are struggling and might find their way again once the Brewers step into Chavez Ravine. Start praying Brewers fans.
  12. Seeing the Brewers won, you and the 'nephew' are forgiven.
  13. And to really top it off - Christian Yelich where the heck have you gone?! This box score below is from August 15th, 2025.
  14. So, I got curious. Last year on August 10th the Brewers won their 9th game in a row vs. the Mets on a walk-off Issac Collins home run, 7-6. Their record went to 73-44. Tonight the Brewers went to 73-44. The standings at the end of that day in 2025 had the Cubs sitting 6 games out at 67-50. With the Cubs loss tonight, they now sit at 68-50 and 5 1/2 games behind. Pretty stinking uncanny if you ask me.
  15. The Brewers just broke their one game losing streak. Gained a game back on the Cubs. Is the season still over?
  16. Cancel culture is alive and well, even on Brewerfanatic.com
  17. What is bothering me about this IGT is the game is tied 3-3 after 6 innings and the discussion is devolved into content matter not related to the game. As you were. hee hee
  18. I turned the game off in the 2nd inning. Gasser and Drohan doing the same damn thing. Noted the Brewers tied the game however the leadoff hitter for Twins got a basehit. Just not going to sit and watch and get stressed to the max like some posters in the thread. And what the Brewers did to Wilson after coming in last night to give the Brewers a chance in the late innings is jaw dropping. Never even heard of the guy they called up. Ok, good luck Brewers.
  19. That's how I used to play 2nd base when I was youngster.
