  1. Good to see that his wrists are finally holding up.Rickie looked to me like he was starting to figure things out at the plate, last year. Then the wrist injury bug struck again.Good to see him healthy and mashing.Weeks will hit well over 30 dingers the way he is going.Looks like the Gary Sheffield comparisons were true after all.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. What a great job by Prince.Beating Pujols in his own back yard.Dude can mash.If Pujols was not having such a mind numbing year,i think Prince Fielder would be getting a lot more mvp looks. That being said Albert Pujols has to be from another planet.Anyway,Way to go Prince!

  4. Do we have any chance at all of keeping C.C.after this year?My goodness,he fits this team like a glove. We are like a different team since he came over.In fact i think we are the best team in the nl right now, thanks in large part to Sabathia.
  5. I really believe this years version of the brewers is of playoff caliber. That being said they have to find out a way to take care of business on the road. They are like two different teams, very good at home, kinda passive on the road. Watching them play road games can be very frustrating, because i get the feeling they should be doing better. Maybe i am expecting to much from a team with so many young position players. IMO winning on the road is what seperates good teams from middle of the road teams.I live down here in san antonio, home of the world champion spurs. The thing that impresses me most about the spurs is there ability to win on the road. They can beat a team anywhere,it does not matter to them. they have that kind of mind set. Hopefully as the brewers grow older and more mature they will learn to do this.
