  1. I am going to the Toronto series in late May. I was wondering if any of you have been to the Rogers Centre and wondering what seats I should choose for the best viewing experience. I know that I don't want to be in the upper level, I've heard it's very tall and the players look tiny. I am going to be going to all 3 games so I am very willing and likely to move around during the 3 games. Thanks in advance for any advice.
  2. Agreed. Very upset with MLB. Now they play the AL Central 2 years in a row.
  3. Hey all just wanted to give an update. The Boston Red Sox opened up June games to give refunds. I have been given a full refund. There were other options such as put the amount toward 2021 and get a 10% increase in value. I took the full refund. Thanks for the people that replied.
  4. Anyone wondering if they are not giving refunds will they (the team) possibly credit your account to be used at different ballparks? I was taking my dad (who lives in WI) for the weekend series in Boston. I live in Phoenix and really have no plans to go to Boston or see a Red Sox game in the near future. Any information is welcome. I'm really fearful I will be out a lot of money, but stuff happens. I know I'm asking about Boston practices but I'm guessing most will all follow the same suit.

  6. I'll certainly be listening to the post game to figure out why Lohse was taken out. I'm shocked by this move.
  7. Sec 144 second row of bleachers. Hope to see some fans there as from tv they have had some very small crowds especially since the dbacks are in first
  8. The Diamondbacks’ off-season retooling got off to an early start Saturday as they pulled off a three-team deal in which center fielder Chris Young was traded to the Oakland Athletics. In exchange, the Diamondbacks landed shortstop Cliff Pennington and infield prospect Yordy Cabrera, whom they then flipped to the Miami Marlins in exchange for reliever Heath Bell. Link: http://www.azcentral.com/sports/diamondbacks/articles/20121020arizona-diamondbacks-trade-chris-young-acquire-heath-bell.html Looks like some money is going to be exchanged as well. I'm surprised these moves happened during the playoffs I always thought that they waited for after the WS to make trades (thought it was some unwritten baseball rule).
  9. I have an over/under ticket with the Brewers. With their month long surge it has become feasible they could be the over. My question is my ticket says it is for the regular season only. Now it is conceivable that the Brewers and another team have to play a 1 game playoff. I have understood this game is regular season and my ticket is for 85 games. Say they are at 85 and the 1 game playoff they win to get to the next 1 game playoff does Vegas consider this the 86th winning game? Thanks in advance for any help, Trevor
  10. Mass Hass ... great question! I was thinking the same thing. Anyone have an idea?
  11. Thanks to everyone who contributed I appreciate it.
  12. This happened in a softball game that I was playing in and I'm just wondering what the right call would have been. It did not have a bearing on the outcome of the game as it was a blowout. Bottom of the 3rd, 2 out, runners on first and second. The hitter hit a ball to the gap. The outfielder gets the ball and throws it to the cutoff, then the cutoff throws it home. Both runners were safe at home. The batter never left the home plate area, maybe moved a couple steps toward first but blew out his knee on the swing. The umpire after the second runner scored for some reason called time. The batter never made it to first, nor was thrown out or tagged out before he called time. I believe the ump messed up because the play was not over. After the umps and coaches talked (the game was pretty out of hand already) they scored both runs and called the runner out. So what should have happened? If the batter is out, it is a force out and neither run would have scored. But because the umpire messed up, does the batter get first base? Just curious in case something like this ever happens again. Which I obviously hope never does, the injury was pretty gruesome. Thanks in advance to all who can help. If you have other questions that would help please let me know.
  13. the sports talk radio guys in Phoenix were talking about booing Braun tonight. Its going to be loud and often. AZ feels that Braun practically beat them batting .500 over the course of 5 games and he tested positive before game 1 of the NLDS. I'll be there tomorrow night to see for myself.
