  1. Alright looks like I'm back to focusing more on work this game kinda blows.
  2. Oh good lord, I didn't know it was that bad http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  3. Zaun still doesn't have a hit. Oye http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  4. Yeah, so I've heard. MLB.TV has been a wreck this entire year thus far.
  5. Since I'm in Chicago, I'm sort of out of the loop on a lot of Brewers news. Does this Gallardo extension pretty much seal the deal on Fielder not being re-upped even if he goes through free agency?
  6. Exactly, but bunting in the 2-hole is just counterproductive, but I can understand sac bunting or using his speed in the 8th spot. He simply doesn't get on base enough to help out the Brewers in the leadoff or two hole.
  7. I really don't think Gomez should be anywhere near the top of the order. He's dumb speed, that's all. Great fielder, but pretty horrendous at the plate. Too many Ks, not enough walks, horrible OBP. He's perfectly suited for 7-8 not leadoff or two in my mind.
  8. I've shifted much of my attention to Fangraphs.com lately.
  9. I think there's honestly something mentally wrong with him... I don't know if it's bi-polar, but he's definitely a very paranoid person.
  10. Exactly, you have to look at other factors. If we're in the AL, then Player A is a no brainer for your DH. Unfortunately when you factor in the position Player B may be an elite CFer and in which case, you would take the slight drop in SLG or OBP for his exceptional defense, while the subpar defense of Player A to the point where he HAS to play DH drops A down a bit. It's all relative to the actual player. I'm guilty of using this same analogy a lot when discussing with friends but without various other factors it doesn't really hold up.
