  1. Anybody have spring training tickets for sale: March 25 @ Dodgers March 26 - @ Home vs San Diego Looking for 4, maybe 5
  2. Do some research on the best LCD in your price range and the best Plasma in your price range.........and then buy the one that is on sale. Seriously, in today's day and age of review review review, belabor belabor......you can't go wrong either way. Pick one, buy it, set it up and enjoy it.
  3. A good thing to do throughout the day is drink water...this will also subside cravings and make you feel fuller for a longer period of time.
  4. Start at this calculator, and then post up your results.....use moderate activity level......you can then divide that number by 6 to see how much you can eat per meal. http://www.muscleandstrength.com/tools/bmr-and-daily-calorie-calculator.html
  5. Lowering your bodyfat will give you a more cut look, that is true. However, you will not lower your bodyfat with excersise alone. The biggest factor is the diet. Eating 6 to 7 meals a day 500 calories below maintenance combined with excercise will enable a person to lose a pound to 1.5 pounds of fat per week. Any more weight loss in excess of that will be muscle or fluids. For example...when people say "I lost 10 pounds this week"....well, that is fine, but it surely was not 10 pounds of fat. I personally have not tried P90X.....but what I have tried in the past 8 months was a consistent 500 calorie deficit diet, weights and low intensity cardio 4 times a week....and my bodyfat % has gone from 26% to 8%.....30 pounds of FAT gone. Now, i am trying to add lean muscle mass so that when I try to cut back down later the added muscle will show thru. I am considering trying P90X at the start of the new year....but don't be fooled into the workout alone getting you the results you are looking for....the diet has to be dialed in.
  6. 80% of your results will be from following a proper nutrition plan that will enable you to shed 1 to 1.5 pounds of fat per week. The other 20% of your gains will be due to the excercise. You MUST get the diet dialed in.
  7. "Each sausage should represent a section in the stadium and Klements should pony up the $ to give the winning section a free sausage at the game. " You would need a lot of sausages out there for one to represent each section.....but 1 section randomly selected to be represented by a sausage would be a great idea.
  8. Well, I live in Madison, MS....just outside of Jackson. Austin is obviously west of me, but speaking as a transplant Wisconsinite frome experience......the summers are HOT and MUGGY. There are no other words to explain. Moving to eastern Texas is not going to be much difference than it is here. Texas is blazzing hot man. If you like that, go for it. I don't necessarily not like it, but don't set yourself up for something you don't want. Austin will touch 100 degrees in 1 summer week than Milwaukee will touch 90 all year long. Granted, your winters will be a lot nicer....but again, Austin will not give you nice weather 'all year round'. Will you be freezing your tail off in the winter, no...but you will definently need winter clothing. If you want beautiful weather all year round..i would suggest South Florida or Southern California...
  9. If you DON'T want crazy humidity........ Don't pick Austin, TX.....You will need to change your underwear immediatly upon leaving the house in the summer time.
  10. Does anyone on here have digital cable service thru Comcast? Well, I do and they recently 'upgraded' the user guide interface.....you know, where you press guide and see all of the programming, etc. Anyway, I was set aback when I saw the 'upgrade'......it looks like the clock was turned back 20 years......very poor interface. I compared it to giving a Intellivison video game system to somebody that has only played XBOX 360 or PS3 their whole life. I am totally shocked that the product put out by Comcast is so substandard. Any other lucky souls out there that is feeling my pain???
